A piece that’s been on my mind for a little bit. It’s inspired by a bus analogy I’ve read a couple of times on the Internet.
Life is like a long bus trip. Sometimes, people get onto the bus and sit around you. Sometimes people sit near you. Sometimes people sit next to you. And you enjoy sitting with these people. But eventually the people reach their stop, and they get off the bus, but still you remain on the bus. And sometimes you end up riding the bus alone, with nothing around you but the impressions in the seats of those who had gotten off before.
And so you just ride on this bus. Maybe it will stop and let some new people on, or maybe it won’t. Who’s to know?
I tried to use layer filters to paint a nighttime setting with warm light from outside street lamps streaming in. Just more experimenting with different digital painting methods and techniques.
