I keep a note document on my phone of various art ideas that I add to and remove from. I’ve been using it for around a decade at this point. The idea for this piece was probably one of the oldest ideas I had in that note document. The original idea didn’t have pixel art in mind, but I think the pixel art look has translated really well and I’m pleased with the outcome. And I always enjoy an excuse to practice dithering. A total of 6 colors were used in this.
