I’m glad I was able to get something more done during 2025. I was beginning to worry that I wouldn’t get the inspiration to complete anything else for the rest of the year.

The minimal inspiration I’ve gotten has mainly been funneled into a larger project that is still very much a work in progress. I hope to get it to a point where I can start sharing some details about it, but there’s still quite a bit that needs to get fleshed out before I feel comfortable to share.

Anyways, this piece is based on a still from one of my favorite movies: Moulin Rouge!. Made for a really good excuse to continue practicing with a very limited palette. A total of 7 colors were used.
