Richard

Another old character from the old Bitter Love story series. This is Richard Cooper, the lead guitarist for the band in the series. In the very few short stories I actually completed for the series, Richard had made a handful of appearances, however, his physical appearance has changed a little bit since his initial creation. Mainly just changes in his fur patterns. The last time I drew him was back in 2019.

Richard is a very aloof and unapologetic character. He’s the kind of guy to respond to criticism with a middle finger and just live his life the way he wants to. His guitar playing skills are highly regarded among his peers and the rest of the band.
Richard was meant to have a rather important character arc that was supposed to be a climax of sorts for the Bitter Love series, but I never got to the point where the arc could take shape. If I get around to working on a reboot for the series, that character arc will still be a part of it. As to what goes on in that arc, you’ll have to wait and see if I ever get around to it.
